My Current Everyday Base Makeup && My First OOTD :)

My face routine changes by season and by what I have on hand at the moment so usually it stays the same from day to day. For the past few weeks until autumn and winter kick into full gear or until I note a specific change, my face routine consists of (in order of use):

Eucerin Everyday Protection Face Lotion SPF 30 – This was a tiny sample tube I received and I’ve been using it for a few weeks as a day moisturizer and sunscreen.

Clinique Even Better Skin Tone Correcting Moisturizer SPF 20 – This is also a sample sized jar that I got from a GWP and I’ve used it a few times last Winter. I will use this when my Eucerin runs out.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Liquid SPF 70 – On particularly sunny days I will apply this after my moisturizer for extra protection. I love that it is a liquid consistency and does not feel oily or thick on my skin unlike most other sunblocks.

Benefit Erase Paste in No. 2 Medium – This is the sample jar that was in the Sephora and Benefit Stay Put Set (this is a decent sized jar that should last me quite a while though). I use this under my eyes and on any other spots and scars I have on my face. I use my fingers to apply this because it has quite a thick consistency.

Clinique Moisture Sheer Tint SPF 15 in Neutral – I bought this back in spring when Clinique had a GWP and I used it occasionally in the spring and quite religiously right before summer kicked in. During the Summer I didn’t wear much makeup, especially foundation type products. Now that it’s autumn and I’m not as tan as I was in the Summer I’ve been using this everyday when I wear makeup. I like this because it gives some coverage and evens out my complexion like a tinted moisturizer and I can use my fingers to apply this.

Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Powder Foundation SPF 20 in 30 Buff – I used to set my makeup with the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder but I get tanner throughout the summer so I bought this powder before my vacation to Florida. It sets my makeup quite well and it does not have an overly matte finish which I like as it seems more natural during warmer climates. In the winter and when I’m fairer, I will probably switch back to my Rimmel powder. I use my ELF Studio Face Kabuki brush to apply this powder all over my face.

So that's it :D Simple right? Now that I lumped everything together it does seem like a lot but it only takes me about 5 minutes to do this routine. Note that I do not wear makeup everyday and it varies from 3-5 times a week.

Autumn is right around the corner and it's getting chillier in the city so I already whipped out my boots and cardigans are a staple in my closet year round. Yesterday I didn't have class so today felt like a Monday all over again and I opted for a comfortable outfit consisting of a loose dolman tunic, warm cashmere cardigan, and stretchy leggings. To get a better view of my tunic click HERE.

Dolman Top and Cardigan -- Uniqlo
Leggings -- Forever21
Belt -- Club Monaco
Boots -- (?) They were a gift :)

Just because I love my belt here's a more detailed view of it. It's pretty unique because the clasp isn't like your typical belt. Club Monaco usually has really outrageous prices but the store near me constantly as sales and everything is marked down an additional 40%-50%. Every time I go to the mall I snag something from there. Once I got a $220 blazer for just $60! Hopefully I'll get to wear it soon and feature it in one of my posts ^^
