A Peachy Pink EOTD

This is the best shot I could get of my eye makeup with my eyes open :( Boooo for low quality pictures!! This is one of my go-to looks for any occasion and I love how it makes me look awake and bright-eyed.

My face makeup is the same as how I explained in my face routine post. For my eyes I used Urban Decay Primer Potion all over the lids and blended it out very well. First I lightly dabbed some of the coral gold cream shadow from the Revlon quad in Skinlights (swatches here) and blended that out until only a faint shimmer was left. Although there is not much color from this base, it gives the powder something tacky to hold onto. I applied the shimmery, light champagne color from the Wet n' Wild Walking on Eggshells palette to my inner corner and the inner half of my lower lids using a small detail brush. The duo eyeshadow is from Clinique and called Strawberry Fudge. I received it from the Macy's Spring GWP and it's one of my most loved and used eyeshadows. Using a flat shader brush, I placed the light shimmery pink with gold duo-chrome color on the entire lid and the reddish plum brown color on the outer third of the lid, blending it upwards and into the crease. I NEED to find dupes of these two colors because they are absolutely GORGEOUS and so unique :D

Clinique's Strawberry Fudge
Using a fluffy blending brush I applied Urban Decay's Twice Baked, a dark brown with gold shimmers, into my crease and blended out any harsh lines. For liner I used ELF's pencil liner in Boldly Bronze, which I reviewed here, on my upper and the outer half of my lower lashline. Then I went over the liner with Twice Baked on an angled liner brush to set it. Surprisingly, the liner lasted pretty much all day with the eyeshadow to set it. It faded a bit but I could still see it on my eyes after ten hours of wear. To finish up the eyes, I curled my lashes and applied Lancome Definicils mascara to the top and bottom lashes.

On my face I used the bronzer in the ELF blush and bronzer duo, ELF's Gotta Glow highlighter, and ELF's Candid Coral blush. All of those items are from the ELF studio line and I love them very much :D I left my lips alone since they were extremely irritated (you can probably tell as they're super red in the picture).

The above picture is included just because I like the cool lighting effects in the top left corner :D I was experimenting with different lighting techniques and whatnot. Hope you guys enjoyed this simple look of mine and check back for more! :) I don't think I'll be able to do picture tutorials because it's so hard to capture the colors on my camera. Perhaps if my blog does well I'll eventually move onto Youtube. But that's months away if I ever do decide to embark on that path ^^

OH YEAH! Remember that 2 week ban I talked about in my last post? Well, just today I found out more details about Wet n' Wild's Holiday collection HERE and if I do find the palettes... I WILL GET THEM! One of the palettes has a dupe for Mac's Club eyeshadow which I think is super unique and gorgeous.... I love limited edition collection but I'm always worried I won't get to the products I want in time :(
