Day to Night with Wet n' Wild's Comfort Zone Palette

A viewer on Youtube requested that I do a tutorial with Wet n' Wild's Comfort Zone palette and I was more than happy to do one. I didn't know what type of look she wanted me to do so I decided to do both a super easy, effortless look as well as a more dramatic, pop of color look.

The "daytime" look above consists of a shimmery beige all over the lid with a midtone shimmery brown in the outer half of the eye, blended softly into the crease. I lined my eyes without doing a wing using the darkest "definer" shade in the palette. This look is all about looking natural and not obviously made up.

Adding to the look I did above, I packed the shimmer brown shade all over the lid and used the brown with green and red reflects on the outer corner. I then lined my lower lash line with both of the green shades in the palette. I completed the look with eyeliner and a bit more mascara.

To see exactly how I did this look, please watch the video below.

How do you transition your makeup from day to night?

  1. That E.L.F. mineral eye primer is going to be my next thing to purchase. Remember that Monistat chafing gel as primer? I started to observe that I got a small white head by the nose area each time I used it ... reminding me of what you said ... so I tried to salvage it as a eye primer, but I don't think I really like it as that either. =P

    1. The E.L.F mineral eye primer is great for people on a budget. I don't think the Monistat chafing gel is suitable for an eye primer. It's way too silicone based to hold eyeshadow. A small white head is not too big of an issue. I think I'd break out pretty bad in big cystic acne if I used it haha :(

  2. Love the look and the colors are so pretty together. I'm pretty simple and don't often wear eyeshadows during the day. If I were to go out at night, I usually look like a totally different person.

    1. Thanks Pang! That's a huge compliment for me since you have really intricate, beautiful looks! I'm surprised you don't wear color during the day because I think you pull it off well :)

  3. I love the 'night' look you created. That duochrome shade is the one I use the most in that palette.

    1. Thanks! How do you usually use the duochrome shade? I have a Too Faced dupe and I barely touch it!
