Zoya Neely: A Pastel Mint Mani

Mint nails are a must for spring and summer and Neely fits the mood perfectly as part of Zoya's Lovely collection. Zoya described Neely as a "earliest spring green cream" which honestly doesn't give me much of a hint about the color. I would describe Neely as a muted green mint with a cream finish. If you've been intimidated by some of the brighter mint polishes out there, Neely might fit the bill.

The formula was easy to work with and the cream finish was opaque in two coats. I did three coats just to even out the nails. The polish was less thick and opaque than Zoya's Blu. Like Blu, I had minor cracking after three days of wear which was only noticeable from up close. The wear is average for me but if you have shorter nails and are gentler on your nails the polish will crack less.

I knew Neely resembled something I already had but I have no polishes that look remotely similar. As I was applying my Queen Helene Mint Julep face mask, I smirked as my nails blended perfectly into the goopy mask. Why not match your mani with your pampering weekly mask?

  1. Such a nice green! It looks kind of similar to the American Apparel polish in Office.

    1. Thanks Rainy Days! I try to take nail swatches when my nails are looking decent :) I don't paint my nails when they're chipped! I like how easy Zoya polishes are to apply and they have good pigmentation!

  3. Hehe, I am starting to understand why you dislike that mask. I am getting bored with it and trying to use it up on my bf's back. haha! I do like its shade of green though - same goes for the nail color of course.

    1. It takes FOREVER to get through and I'm so close to finishing it.... Great idea about using it on the back. I don't really get bacne and I think my boyfriend wouldn't have the patience to use this XD

    2. Seriously. At first I was like, oh wonderful, so much, I'll always be needing this. But then I made the mistake of getting another clay mask from Kiehls...which feels creamier and nicer... and I realized that clay masks in general just last a long time. Yeah I don't have bacne thankfully, the bf does... and he doesn't like me using it on him. haha he wants me to just throw it out but I hate doing that. >.<

That's amazing that you are close to finishing it!
