Between school and two part time jobs, I don't have much down time nowadays, thus the shortage of blog posts this month. But when I'm not too exhausted at the end of the night, I'll try to pop on a sheet mask to soothe and revitalize my skin so I don't look like a dull, ashy zombie. The My Scheming Masks are a favorite of many Asian girls and guys and the Milk Extract Brightening version is worth a look.
The best thing about My Scheming masks are the generous amount of serum in each pack. You get 30ml which is more than you need for 15-30 minutes of masking. The Milk Extract version has a very light serum with a very watery consistency. The cotton is soft and thin and a good size for my face. Sometimes masks can be too big or small, making the masking process slightly uncomfortable or less effective when not every inch of your skin is covered properly.
The Milk Extract mask has virtually no scent which is rare for Asian sheet masks. If you have sensitive skin and can't tolerate fragrance, this is a good one to try. This mask was especially cooling and soothing on my skin.
While I liked the Milk Extract Brightening Mask overall, it didn't seem to produce very noticeable brightening. I would say it's still worth a try and a nice booster moisturizing mask to add to your skincare routine. You can buy a box of 10 sheets from Sasa.com for $13.10 but the price is definitely cheaper in places like Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Have you tried My Scheming masks? What are your favorite sheet masks?
