In the past I've had iffy feelings about The Body Shop products as I'd always wanted to love the brand but had never found any products I truly would repurchase. But the new Honeymania collection is changing that. I raved about the Honeymania Body Butter in my last favorites post because it's one of my favorite body moisturizers at the moment. I like it so much that I'm bringing it along with me to Korea to relieve my super dry, itchy skin.
First off, my favorite thing about the Honeymania Body Butter is the scent. The sweet scent is really pleasant although it depends on your personal taste. The scent is quite strong which might make it irritating to those sensitive to fragrance. Water is the first ingredient in the body butter followed by cocoa and shea butters. Beeswax and honey also appear in the ingredients list which is nice to see as well. The butter is thick so it won't budge in the container but it spreads out easily on the skin and sinks in well. My skin feels softer the next morning after applying the moisturizer before bed.
A 6.75 ounce tub of The Body Shop's body butters will set you back $20 retail which I think is a bit much but the brand frequently has offers such as buy two get one and even 50% off during special occasions. After I use up my hoard of body lotions and The Body Shop has a good sale, I'll definitely be stocking up on a few of these butters.
