Sleek Face Form Contouring and Blush Palette: Bronzed & Glowy From the Drugstore

I like the look of layering bronzer, blush and highlighter for a sculpted and defined face but I don't always have the time and energy to pick out three different products that go well together. It actually takes up more time than you would think to open and close three separate compacts in the wee hours of the morning. I find myself skipping bronzer and highlighter a lot because I just don't have enough time to apply them. Well, I dug out the Sleek Face Form Palette that I bought last year in London and I can't  believe I hadn't used it sooner! Three beautiful cheek powders in one slim compact solve all my lazy woes! I already know it's going to be a staple this summer!

This palette is available in drugstores like Boots and Superdrug in the UK but you can also order it online through Sleek's website for $15. I bought it when Superdrug was doing 3-for-2 so I got it at a bit of a discount but $15 isn't bad for three products that total 20 grams or .68 ounces. The Nars Blush and Bronzer Duo only contain .35 ounces which is about half the size and costs $42. The Sleek Face Form is available in four shades: fair, light, medium and dark. Fair and light are very similar and contain a bronzer, blush and highlight whereas medium and dark contain two bronzing shades and a highlight. I have the palette in light and it seems very similar to fair to the point where I don't feel the need to own both. The packaging is standard matte black and thin enough to travel with. The top of the compact holds a big mirror that makes application very handy.

If you're familiar with Sleek's eyeshadow palettes, you'll know the brand consistently doles out highly pigmented products. The Face Form Palette is no exception. A single swipe reveals smooth, dense pigment that translates beautifully on the skin. The bronzer is entirely matte, the highlight a super fine shimmer and the blush is a frost finish but very finely milled. The colors look stark and maybe even too pigmented for some but they blend out easily on the skin. Part of the reason it took me so long to try out this palette was because I thought the colors would be too dark for my winter complexion. If you're super pale, use a light hand with the bronzer and blush but if you're medium toned, you'll love these colors.

Here you can see how subtle the powders look once blended. The bronzer is not too warm so it never looks orange. It slims down the area under my cheekbones well without looking too obvious. The highlight is hardly noticeable in the best way possible and the blush looks like a potential dupe for Nars Orgasm. I never look overdone with all three on my face and the shades blend seamlessly into each other to create a flawless cheek!

I have nothing to say but good things to say about the Sleek Face Form Contouring and Blush Palette. The price, packaging and product are all great and any skintone will find at least one of the shades available will suit them. I hope Sleek launches more shades soon as I'll definitely be looking to add more to my collection!
